So, I figured all of us get our trucks repaired so maybe we should share our best and worst shops so we know what ones to hit and what ones to avoid.

    My fav.
    Rockey Mountain Cummins. Boise, ID
Everytime I have taken my truck to these guys they take the time to understand what I'm talking about and the problems I am having. I can talk to the tech personally if I need to to explain. Also everytime it has come out it has been fixed for that issue. Lots of experience over the pass year love this shop.

    One to avoid.
Any #### shop with Knight name attached to it. (Any monkey can throw parts at it and say fixed. A true mech looks for the cause not for a code.)

    International of Boise, ID
This place is horrible. If it's not popping a code its not broke and if it is popping a code it's still not broke. What more needs to be said had truck down for days there and never got fixed.

    Sooo what's u r good and bad ?

Freightliner in Rock Springs WY. Those guys go out of their way to get you fixed and back out on the road in a hurry. On the bad side, stay away from International in Jacksonville FL unless you enjoy sitting around listening to the techs ##### about customers while accomplishing NOTHING.
Also, T/A in Ontario CA managed to fry one of the ECUs on my truck while trying to jump a wire to get a tail light working. Had to take them to court to get the repair cost reimbursed.

***Edit*** I'm not a Schneider driver, just saw the title and thought it was an interesting idea for a thread. Carry on...

    Tampa Freightliner is horrible.
Tried to bill me $3500 to replace power steering pump.
After they figured out that I know what I was talking about, my bill was $1200

Among the good ones, campbell freightliner out of NJ. My truck went in, rebuilt and back on the road in 4 days. Quoted price was cut down by 1200.00

Georgia Diesel in douglasville,ga. has always been well above board in both the work they do and the manner that they stand behind that work.It is a smaller shop with 3 or so mechanics and 4 bays i think.
