Pull a oil sample and have it ck. for coolant,Take it back and give them or another shop a chance to remove oil cooler and ck. it them install new seals, if they will pull the oil pan then press. rad. and turn over eng. by hand as they look for drops of coolant running out liners, we will all hope its seals being so close to new years !

Definitely oil cooler. Oil pressure is higher than coolant pressure

Years ago had that and it was the center head, just prior to that had a injector push tube break and fixed at the shop, next trip oil in the radiator. New head fixed it.

Check your oil for coolant in it! Antifreeze will make your mains swell and seize the crank! Been there and it ain't pretty.

Also, determine if its engine oil or gear oil? Could be tranny cooler.

It is the oil cooler. They are full of ####. You need to find a better shop if possible. Its an easy fix as long as the cooling system is flushed properly you should be fine. I've replaced a few over the years because they do go bad. I've seen it in CAT Detroit Cummins Mack and Volvo motors. Anything and everything on a truck can and will screw up. It was made by humans and it is an imperfect world, things do mess fineWith the oil cooler out you want have coolant in your oil as it just doesn't go that way unless the truck is parked for days and even then it probably won't get into your oil

    rbell116 Thanks this.
