Whats your guys experiences with a truck sitting for a period of time? How long can a truck sit before the liner O rings give out? Are there trucks that sit for 10 years and are running descently with minimal repairs? This might be dumb, but Im kinda curious...

I am somewhat of an expert on old iron ( my cb Handel is obsolete) because of the equipment I run. I have reserected many an old truck from the field or behind the barn and run them. In my experence a lot will depend on the make of truck and the engine in that truck. Older Mack trucks will sometimes seep water at head gasket an seal up when ran or not I have not had a problem with o rings in liners. But rubber or air quip lines determinate from inside bunking stuff up . Injector pumps leaking wheel seals that sort of stuff. Just do a preasure test on cooling system if in dought pull pan see if leek in past liners. There are no real hard and fast rules when bringing one back from the grave. No matter how hard you try to locate potential problems something you never expect will get you.
