Well you posted a Wix number so any parts store should be able to get it. I never been a fan of phram you get what you pay for. Donaldson usually makes the filters for OEM. There is am age old saying "Big trucks Big bucks"

I'm happy any time I find an air filter for my K100. I've paid anywhere from $25 (never got inventoried in their system so they were getting rid of it) up to $150 because it had been special ordered then never picked up by someone else.

You can always pull some breathers off an old hood and mount them on the frame if you don't like the filter you have.

I don't know what the part number is for mine but if his 800 has the same under hood filter as my 600 it ought to be about $55-$75 just about anywhere. I use Donaldson air filters.

The one he has is one of those goofy pocket-style filters, they work well but are pricey. Of course, they also respond very well to being tapped on the ground, once you dump a few pounds of dirt out it'll work until the new one arrives.
