My 2005 freightliner columbia Detroit series 60 14.L has has been running a little hotter 7-10 degrees hotter around 190 f. My thermostat housing had some coolant leak not a bad leak tho. Would a bad thermostat housing cause truck to run a lil hotter?

The housing does not have a gasket, the rubber around the thermostats are what seals it. If that rubber is deteriorating, a chuck may have also bound up in a thermostat. It's a fairly easy job to do thermostats on them, so I'd just get a pair, fix the leak and see what you find in there.
