    ok so I bumped up my c-15 acert to 550/1850. (Mxs) 11r 22.5's 355 rears 13 speed.
got tired or not being able to pull hills.
some thought it would also help with mpg. but no change I ran same road/loads five days before and after. still only hitting 5.5 average.
going to look into free flow mufflers, but I read on posts from hear something about changing fuel filter base plate, anyone ever heard of this?

pulls a lot better but was hoping to get in low six's mpg and I'd be happy. any thought's ???????

Check if you have any intake/exhaust leaks. Even little bit of boost leak makes a big difference. When was the last time you had overhead tuned? Instead of free flow mufflers, just put straight pipes a lot cheaper. Also make sure your engine air filter is clean, acerts use alot of air.

If a dealer (cat) turned it up you won't see much if any mpg increase ....

Donaldson M100463s can be bought from Ryder truck parts and other places for under $100 each. I picked up .5 mpg putting them on over the old mufflers and they are fairly quiet with the jakes on.

So, in reality, it will be cheaper to put the mufflers on than to go buy chrome straight pipes.

no leaks, in fact turbos were just off to fix broken studs and exhaust manifold gasket replaced. same shop/dealer that turned it up for me.
considering turning it down too 500/1850.. it does have Donaldson after market mufflers on it, not free flow.
to dam bad I can't talk to person I know who could help from reading prior posts.

When was the last time overhead was tuned? Did you have it tested for boost leaks? I have 435hp nsx I get 6.8-7.0 fully loaded doing 65mph at 1400rpm
