I know Pittsburgh Power mufflers are the same thing as donaldson. Claimed to gain 50 hp and .5 mpg.
-
If you can gain that much HP out of a simple muffler what would a header type of exhaust manifold do?
Is there any manufactures out there that make one? -
I haven't try it yet. That's what pittsburgh power said. That type of muffler is high flow or free flow muffler. It Reduces backpressure than any stock muffller.
-
I use Walker Megaflo's which are essentially the same high flow as the PP or Donaldson high flows.
double yellow Thanks this. -
Are these mufflers obscenely loud or just a nice aggressive tone?
-
They can get a bit noisy under a load, but on the flat their good.

I agree with the .5 mpg increase, I didn't notice a hp increase, unless the mufflers you had on before were plugged up.Dark_Majesty_06 Thanks this. -
I would be more happy for turbo change to non waste, polished manifold, and walkers muffler like cowpies. It's christmas wish. Merry Christmas!
