My company just purchased an 07 volvo vhd with a d12 with 80k miles on it. Left for my first trip, and was on the side of the road. I just went through something almost identical with an identical truck, but 300k miles. That ended up being the fuel pump, accessory drive, and #3 injector. The new truck just got the fuel pump and acc drive replaced, and it's still throwing #1 and #3 injector codes. The dealership we bought it from seems shady. I'm wondering if there's ANY possible way that the odometer could've been tampered with once upon a time? Is there any way of finding out?

Take it to another dealer. They can hook up the computer and match serial numbers. If they match they can tell you actual miles. That being said, whatever is displayed in the dash is what's in the ECM

inj nj codes can be caused by several things. Faulty inj, faulty harness connection, faulty harness, sucking air into the fuel, etc.

rigdig.com could possibly shed some info on the truck history also
