I have a 2010 Cascadia with the DD15. The truck went though 4 gallons of oil in 2000 miles then stopped consuming it the last 500 miles of the trip. It also is now coding low oil pressure only over 1400 RPMs and will shut down if you don't get the RPMs down quick. I do regular oil samples and the last one was done 4000 miles ago and came back fine.
My question is has anyone ran into this problem and if so how was it corrected.

Oil pressure problems always need to be confirmed with a mechanical gauge. Obviously this is something not to mess with and you should have a professional look into this. Same goes for oil consumption. The only easy fix for that is to make sure you are not over filling it. Engine will burn oil big time if they are over filled.

what pressure reading you have at 1400 rpm and when idling ? and what code you have ? I mean the number.

Oil pressure at 1400rpms is 38psi and at idle is 18psi. So I know that it is really not the problem. I took a CPC out of the sister truck today and tried that thinking I could have a bad one but no change. I truly believe the pressure issue is electrical at this point.
I gave up this afternoon and took it to the "parts changers" aka the dealer, told them to look for a datalink issue because at this point I don't think it is mechanical. I changed the oil pump and the O-ring on the pickup tube a 2 weeks ago.

I have 2012 Cascadia with dd15. the oil pressure is 16.5 - 20 psi at idle and 42-55 psi at 1400-1500 rpm. why did you change the oil pump ? here is the theory how low oil pressure warning comes on. in a moment computer reads less then 25 psi . I can give you dd15 ddec10 A&I manual plus wiring diagrams and you try to check the connection wires from sensor to cpc (or mcm ). if you want to do it give me your email address and I will send it. BTW oil pressure sensor sends signal to MCM not CPC. You should change the MCM. You don't have fault codes( like snp xxxx fm xx cnt xx) ?
