I have a 2004 C-12 MBL engine , Fuel injectors leaking up through the plungers have replaced them twice in the last month and a half with reman injectors. The last 6 were installed last weekend. I ran dyed fuel when I started the engine used a black light and all 6 were seeping fuel. in 1000 miles I am getting almost 2 gallons of fuel in the crankcase any ideas as to why these injectors fail to seal?

Is the fuel coming from the plungers or up from the cups? If plungers I would suspect you have metal shavings or debri in head, these new injectors don't have screens like the older ones or was the truck ran out of fuel or started on ether that could have scored the injectors internally?

Fuel coming out of plungers I suspect, it is seeping out around the springs on the injectors. No metal I could see. Thanks for the reply!

You might need to look at high fuel pressure, you may have a restriction in the return. There is a 1" check valve that controls pressure on bottom of filter housing. It's about 25.00. You been through 2 sets of injectors now and apparently due another. To get fuel pushing up thru plungers there has to be debris, high fuel pressure, or injectors ran dry. Now if the fuel is leaking close to spring at base and not sure if it's plungers it is possible someone put the top oring in the wrong groove and the fuel is escaping the fuel galley. Monkey see monkey do on that, I could see two different parts changers doing that.

Poke Along here, have had another injector replaced ,also another fuel pump as well as check valve at Rush Truck center. After 850 miles I now have at least 5 gallons of fuel in crank case. I've spent over $7500 in repairs and no better than when I started. I'm at a loss!!!
