OBD II is used for Passenger Cars and Trucks, not Heavy Duty Diesels. Heavy Duty Diesels use their own exclusive Proprietary Software that you will need to purchase from Detroit Diesel that you can use with your own computer. The Diagnostic Ports are usually located under the Driver's Side Kick Panel or under the hood next to the ECM.

The only plug i have seen is the round plug on the drivers right side floor is that the only one or is there more? Looks like it has about 5 or 6 holes that actually got pins to connect to. I haven't looked under the steering wheel but i will check just didn't want to start taking panels off in wrong places. And i got nexiq system so it should have all the connections i need

Yes, the round port is the one you need, sometimes the ECM has one exactly next to it which serves the same purpose.
