CNG tank failure.

    May be this thread is better for Accidents section, but I concider it just an example of typical tank failure.

    Tank is installed in frame. It was damages with stone ore other thing left on road.

    When compressed gas escapes its temperature goes below the zero and u can see snow appeared in air.

    Becouse of low temperature compressed gas rarelly ignites, like diesel and dissapeares in minutes.

    But pressurised CNG is dangerouse becouse if tank blows during refilling it may ruin truck ore bus and kill operator and driver.

    This crap happened in Sumy, Ukraine. Collect come gas))) I saw LPG tank broken, LPG spilled on pavement boils and goes vapor.

    But LPG may be more dangerouse, it is heavier that air and may stay on surface, be mixed with air and blow. But usually wind moves it away
