I am having a drip shortly after starting in the mornings from up by the water pump area, can't see the weep hole so I am not sure if it's the water pump leaking, it doesn't leak after I start out on my run in the day or when I am parked but it does shortly after I start up, not taking any water either as I can still touch it in the water pan

The weep hole is impossible to see because it's on the inboard side....check water tubes, thermostat housing and water manifold real good before condemning the water pump. Any of those things could be seeping overnight and running down the block beside the water pump.

In my experience there should be a small line coming from the water pump that we normally refer to as a high pressure line and it will only leak with the engine running and the engine is hot up to temperature.

A lot of issues with the small line on Sterling Trucks again every case is specific but this sounds like your issue.
