Ok,thanks for your reply so you are saying that it Doesnt it sound like a exhaust leak? Right
-
sounds like a broken adjuster on a rocker. Valve cover going to have to come off.

Something is broke up top. Take the cover off and have a look.

look at the gasket area where the turbo bolts on. and the gaskets at each exhaust port for black soot. if none then it is under valve cover. if you had a broken rocker you would know it! had an engine in here a while back that had the same sound. ended up being a wrist pin bushing fell apart on a piston. but that was more of a knocking sound.

Check the center section of the exhaust manifold, they burn out.

So heres what we found, when you 1st crank the truck up and floor it no hesitation, but at the end of flooring it you look up at the exhaust pipe and a little white smoke comes at the end,so my mechanic checked the oil,he says that he can smell diesel in the oil, which isnt a good thing he says the diesel in my oil could eventually wear out my barons in my motor,he says that the noise probably is a bad injector either going out or about to go out so im pricing them to see who have the cheapest so far truck pro is the cheapest with core, but since ima be right there and have to change the valve cover gasket,im thinking bout pulling the head also and replace the head gasket, because i believe i see some kind of liquid i believe its coolant running along down the gasket,I believe im doing the right thing,by saving me more time and money in the long run, since i had this truck i havent changed nothing on it besides the air bag,and a tire.truck is not running hot but i try my best to stay on top of things before it goes Bad.
