was it the 525? I forget. the 525 runs better then the 600 anyways. the 600 you may as well just punch a hole in the fuel tank and let it run out for as far as you will get burning it.
I still think they look bug eyed but it is a rare piece of trucking history

Yeah i wasent a fan of them either. The 525hp had more low end torque what i heard from 3408 anyway, 600 had the same torque but it wasent available till 1600rpm where the 525s 1650lbs was available at 1400.

Now I will admit that over the years I have put on some pounds, BUT a lot of the drivers I see these days in truckstops could'nt climb in a cabover.

I think that the coe are going to make a come back wether we like it or not.
The Challenger Thanks this. -
They made about 650 372.
The cab over will never come back in the USA do to workers comp clams from drivers falling out of the cab.
The tried to fix this on the Argosy with power stairs that swung out, But some times they would deploy going down the road. -

The 372 was also referred to as a "football helmet" the nose part that tilted forward before you could raise the cab was bad about cracking.

I actually drive a Peterbilt 372 for the sound company I work for. It's a 25 foot straight truck. It's pretty powerful engine considering hauling heavy amplifiers.
