Huh, I thought that Cummins was developing an SCR solution FOR navistars motors, not replacing them WITH Cummins engines.

However I will say that I did tell my Navistar rep. when he was in here that I would only consider a Navistar truck if it had Cummins power, MAYBE they are listening?

Have to agree. Our 2 trucks are CAT Powered. We haul around a lot of CAT equipment, and we haul a lot of dirt, gravel, etc to and from CAT equipment!

Yup, I'm in Diesel Tech school & all my instructors have told me Caterpillar sucks and they have repaired more caterpillars in the field then Cummins & Detroit.

CAT is the "snap on" of the heavy equipment and highway engines up to 2010

My ISX has a power issue that no dealer in the area can fix. Sometimes it's not about the brand of engine, it's about knowledgeable dealer support.

CAT is the "snap on" of the highway engine up to 2006. 2008-2010 were boat anchors.
