I have H11 low beams. I just got my truck and the lights are pitiful. I read the plastic reflectors flake off the coating and become useless. Is this something I'll need to replace as well or does it matter with the HID replacements? I'll be ready to make a purchase after my next settlement which should be a week from Tuesday. Do you PayPal?

Yes I paypal. I wil have to add the Paypal
Fee, though. I had to polish and coat my headlights on the
Volvo. The clear lens was not as clear as it is now. The
Polishing and coating takes about 1hr. But, the vehicle should not be driven for about 8-12 hr after the coating process. Hid's that I've installed, were under my headlights. I've taken the bolts for he headlights and headlights off. Drilled 2 holes for the ballast, screwed the ballast in place. MOdder the black shell of the headlight a little-for the new wiring, install the headlight, connect the ballast tO the bulb/both sides and whooola. No CEL. No other Volvo idiotic light came on, on the dash. The kits that I sell do cost more, in some cases a lot more
Than other brands. But, they last and my 2007 Volvo did not go to the stealership to reprogram the comPuter, because of the diff. Lights.

Sounds great, I don't mind paying for quality and as long as the wiring is the same from 2007 to 2010 I shouldn't have any issues either.

I tried to PM you but forum has minimum post rule so I couldn't but I did receive your PM, thanks.

Please send total and PayPal email and I'll send payment middle week after my latest settlement clears bank.

Of course, wouldn't drive anything else as long as I stay OTR. I love my comfort.

really I like Volvo cabin. Volvo headlamp is the real problem. We had projectors resilvered too! With HID reflector life is much longer.

The problem with the reflective surface pealing off of the projector parabola is pretty common. I heard of a company who replaces the entire projector lamp with a factory-new replacement that eliminates the problem with the poor light output (I heard this while talking with a Penske fleet manager who had several of his VN lamps repaired this way). I’ll have to check around for their name, but they were apparently using factory original parts to reset the lamp to factory specs. If you couple that with an upgrade to an H9 bulb in your low beam projector you’ll be amazed at how much light you have coming out of your headlamps! No need to attempt an HID upgrade at that point!

I drive a 2011 Volvo 9 speed for CRST and I am now refusing to drive it at night on anything but straight, well painted roads because of the extremely dim low beam lights! The lights have been adjusted twice--Once by a dealer who did not want to admit to the obvious lack of adequate candlepower in low beam mode saying it might be a lens problem. I am taking the issue to Volvo, the DOT, Dept of Transportation, my elected officials,CRST, and the media! Anyone wishing to join me can contact me at ray.fifer@gmail.com. This is a major ignored safety issue that needs to be addressed NOW!
