What, for you, is the ultimate "classic" truck? Is it an old Peterbuilt, Mac, what? Also, appearance wise, where have trucks gone wrong (if at all)? What is the ugliest "modern" truck on the road?

Freightliner Columbia is the ugliest IMO

I have to agree, the whole small grill and rounded features thing is a bit of a turnoff. Looks like it is trying to be an F150.

Pete_379X and 1pissedoffdriver Thank this. -
The new lonestar, looks like a comic book character
edit: Trying to find that link with 2 photos to a globin -
I don't think that Kenworth got it too bad when they designed the T660. I like it. It rides nice and it drives nice, but it is no pete 379 or kenworth w900.

Volvo! But then you did say truck, so that doesn't apply.

Do they have to be 18 wheelers ? I like the old 10 wheel dumps and wreckers - Autocar (killed by Volvo ) , Brockway , and B Model Macks . But the best classics - the Monfort KW's .

They were selling a lot of Brockway dumps at the Ford Dealer in Little Rock in the mid-70's . I knew a guy that had a few contracted to McGeorge hauling gravel for I-430 construction . (Yeah , I'm THAT old ! )
