Hello, I am looking for a 2003-2004 reefer. Was thinking about auctions, banks etc. Any suggestions?

I get flyers from the Taylor & Martin auction company, many auctions, most are absolute, excellent equip. description on flyers, and webpage. Go to their website, and call their # to get on their flyer mailing list. They have auctions in TX, CO, PA, MS, just to name a few states, and if it is a complete dispersal, will hold it on the co. site. Also know people who have purchased auction equip., was told to make sure to do a thourogh inspection on the equip you want to bid on.

I get the same flyer from Taylor & Martin, they have a pretty decent selection of reefers asually, depending on where and who's the latest fleet going outta biz. I do think there are some serious deals at the auctions now, in light of the economy.
I know the dealers buy alot, or at least did untill the economy went south...anyways, I know of a really nice 2001 Great Dane 48x102 closed tandem, nicely loaded that a dealer bought for $4800 and tried to sell on their lot for almost $7000. The reason it was cheap was cuz it had a 1990 SB II but few hours.
Also, for a very small fee (I forget the exact cost) Taylor and Martin will send you a booklet that shows what ever piece of equipent sold for in the last 6 months. That would be a good reference to give ya a better idea of what you might expect to pay.
Another route might be off of truck paper, I know there are some O/Os out there who are hurting and basicaly willing to sell for what they owe on their tailers. I hate to see guys hurting and dump equipment like that, but it's a buyers market right now, at least in my opinion. -
Thank you guys!
