I don't know he said he tested one with the stock bearings and it only lasted a week. I thought all the ball bearings were good but i dont know

He must have got a bad one I have had no problems with mine, the only thing I've been told is to get plenty of air to the cooling fins because ball bearing types have less than half the oil flow of standard turbo's to keep them cool also if you get to much oil into them it will hydraulic the bearings.
A friend of mine runs a GT55R on a 20b rotary drag car it looks strange almost bigger than the engine and its bigger than the one on my truck.

Ya im not too sure. He said he runs the GT55 as well on Cats but he said id need a better program in the ECM he custom makes them and said he could make a 2500rpm one that would work well for me but I don't got the money for that right now so i think im gonna get his GT47
