1994 5EK currently set at 475/1751 with no other ecm upgrades. It's got a michigan stage two non wastegated turbo and a 550 camshaft.

I got my hands on an ecm set at 500/1851 with 6232 (not 5232) codes, FLS at 127 and FTS at 0. How should this run? Right now the boost max is 30-33psi and the guy at michigan turbo said the turbo is good for 525hp???

The turbo is good for 525hp or limited to 525hp? I'd say with those fuel settings plus the factory trims it will be 525 or more, add hot trims, fuel wire or anything else and you'll be over 525hp for sure.

Why would the Mich stage two only be good for 525hp? Thats less then a factory 550 turbo obviously

It still has stock injectors although i dont know what number. The reason i got the mich stage two is when i overhauled i wanted a non wastegated that would install without any exh or oil line changes. I dont know the specs on the turbo. Right now my egt's (post turbo) might reach 800 max.
