Absolutely, they have the nicknames "TrashCan" and "TransCrack" for a reason. I tried 3 of them, 2 cracked and the only reason the 3rd didn't was I sold it before it could. I never even had a heavy load on them but it didn't matter, the frame cracked above the suspension. (Last one was an '05)

You'd be very surprised. There are A LOT of repo stuff floating around and the bank sells them for what's owed.

is there a leveling valve on the air ride suspension for the trailer? i'm having trouble with my airbags on the unit.the bags don't pump up when i'm loaded, but pump all the way up when i'm empty.

Check to see if there is a protection valve between the tank and the leveling valve. It's small and there to not allow any air to the suspension until the tank is above a certain pressure. If it's bad it would make sense as to why the bags would lift empty but won't allow enough pressure to lift loaded. I had one go bad and if you would tap it with a hammer it would slowly fill the bags. If that's it you can bypass it to get you by, but I'd replace it so if you blow a bag your brakes don't lockup.
