I have cat mbn with 7cz file and bullydog stock turbo just wondering what turbo should I be running. Part # would help to thanks

It would depend on when you bought the turbo you have now. Bully Dog was purchasing Chinese imitations of a BorgWarner turbo that is assembled from parts. BorgWarner doesn't build this turbo and assign a part number to it as a completely assembled turbo.

I'm not sure if Bully Dog stopped this practice of using the Chinese turbo or not. I haven't looked at one of their turbos in over a year to be able say. I'd heard that they were having a high failure rate from these turbos and were considering going to BorgWarner to source the parts to assemble them.

If you have a turbo built using BW parts and sold by Bully Dog then you have the perfect turbo for your application. If you have the Chinese copy of this same turbo then you have the possibility of an early failure. You're not pushing the turbo hard with this application

I didn't think bd make a stock turbo. I know they have a stage 1 clone. Could be completely wrong..... usually am.....

I was going with the fact that Bully Dog only offers one turbo for any CAT application. With this in my mind I'm assuming that he has what is possibly the Chinese clone of the PDI Stage 1 turbo. It can't be stock turbo........... if it's a Bully Dog turbo.

I think he meant he has a 7CZ file in his ecm along with a bully dog, running the stock turbo not BD

FTS is Full Torque Setting

These number are used by the ECM to adjust when and how much fuel is injected into the engine to calibrate the fuel flow per hour usage, while at the same time meeting the emission standards. Each engine is run on a dyno at the factory. Afterwards CAT uses these numbers to adjust the HP and fuel rate. These number can be changed to add a ton of extra Hp if you want to
