    JB Weld, duct tape, and bailing wire all have their uses. Air tanks aren't one...

    Besides the fact that air tanks just aren't that expensive geeze!

    duck tape is ok, If you have a "Check duck tape light" on the dash
    CF trucks didn't even have keys

    My old man told me a story about welding air tanks for trucks. This was way back in the days before maxi brakes and tractor protection valves and such. He had a Cat on a lowboy behind a old Mack, with his boss in front of him. The night/afternoon before they welded a air tank on the trailer to get it fixed. Coming down off a mountain that air tank let go and from that point on my old man's boss's truck did all of the braking for both of them...
