that is why we love short transmission to take stress from gearbox clutch and drive shaft to differential
in bosnia many log trucks cant go faster than 60kmh even new ones they convert mp2 actros chassis 6x2 or 4x2 tractor to 6x4 with differentials/rear ends hl/hd7 from 2626 /2632 and truck have 62kmh at 1800rpm
even road going trucks are slow i know guy who have 19464 man with 1750rpm at 70kmh he is always 50t gross or more over some bad mountains

really I cant see a reason to discuse powertrain options. Really now conventials and cabovers share powertrain. the real difference is in cab design, wheel base, some frons suspention features.

it is car carrier but not old , they often use them with normal semitrailers or with low loaders for transport of trucks and agricultural machines
those rolfo ego platforms have 5th wheel on normal position not like lohr at back of chassis so they can be used for more purposes
look at bottom of cab below grille how low it is placed they dont have cab suspension at all
