I wanted to keep my slider and it is a Simplex Lite 5th wheel and they do not make taller legs for it, so this was the only option.

I can not raise the plate due to the brand of 5th wheel.

I could have switched over to a JOST or HOLLAND for $2,000 or do what I did and spend less than half. I thought it was a good idea, plus now if I go back to RGN all I have to do is remove the bolts and it's back to where it was.

Or just get higher pedestals for the 5th wheel.

Actually, I always have to lower EVERY tank I hook to about 5"-6", thus another reason why I raised up the 5th wheel.

With my bags dropped, it sits at 43" high, so I should not have an issue.

Not sure what you mean here??? These are pedestals.... and they do not make higher legs for a simplex.

    SHC,

You have a gorgeous looking set-up there. I'd like to see a photo with both the tractor and tank.
