    EGR Removal in Australia

    On a cold motor, turn the key on without starting the motor. Wait at least 20 seconds then unplug the lower plug on the egr. The ecm will close the valve during the wait time. After you unplug the valve, turn the key off then wait about 10 secs and start the engine. Will increase mileage by about 1 mpg and drop your oil temp.

    Thanks for that, but I'm having trouble working out which is the lower plug on the EGR

    this will work only on 2002epa ISX and acording to the pictures above it is an 2007epa isx and i bet it has an particle filter either

    I bought the truck brand new in Dec 2010, and no it doesn't have a DPF.

    how strict are emission laws where you are and travel? Depending on that you may want to get rid of the dpf system at the same time by getting the ECM reflashed.

    I haven't got a DPF, they came in over here in about April 2011

    That engine is a CM871 with no dpf . I can help you eliminate EGR with no check engine light and you will gain KPL along with fuel gain the engine will run cooler and have lots of other benafits sutch as less soot entering engine oil which prolongs engine life, the list of benafits goes on
