I am not yet sold on l.e.d. I can get the ole type for $3.95 a lot less than l.e.d. I have seen way too many l.e.d.'s with 1/2 or more of the l.e.d.'s not lit up. I like the looks & less energy. e.t.c. but the ole ones are much cheaper. if equip has l.e.d. I would replace with it, if ole type, then I replace with like kind.

I have stuck the el cheapo ones with the rubber gaskets back in.
Thats what I was thinking. Only issue I've seen with them and it's mostly on side marker lights is when they aren't sealed and water and dirt get to em and the connectors break off there boards.

Use trucklite grease on the connections. The nice thing about the old lights is they get warm and melt the snow away in winter.

That's a good idea. I've got one of those air lines with the glad hand attached. You could just change out the fixed end piece with a quick disconnect and attach what ever you'd like. Off to Harbor Freight.

    Thanks.

Yup. I spent a little more for the nylon air hose, works great in all temps.

I thinking about that. Just putting together my own set up. I'm not sure that other hose I have would teach the back of the trailer or not.

Spend the money to get a hose that will reach all around the truck. It will be well worth the investment. Even if you have to throw on another hose and put quick connects between the two. Just make sure your hose is long enough to do the job.

(Now don't nobody go gettin' yer minds in the gutter here. . .)
