Cool, Les. Wasn't getting into details that deep and didn't know it didn't apply to yours. Most everyone else fits into one of the three engines listed. For those, sometimes it pays off to dig a little deeper than the first page or two and find out the details. I would recommend anyone, for any length of OCI, do an oil sampling program to keep up with how the engine and oil is doing. Now that is cheap insurance!! No telling what a person can catch early on before they ruin an engine.

All the information for your engine is carved on stone tablets Les! In fact it's probably older than the dino oil you put in it! Haha

Now that I've been bragging on, it the crank will probably drop out of it the very next time I hit the key, and yes I will blame you!!!!!!!!!!!

No friggin way... I am going back to bed. It is 7:50 am on Friday the 13th. If I managed the above from a forum, not even going to attempt doing anything on a day like this.

Go figure, I just noticed tell-tale blow-by smoke under my truck while it was idling tonight. It's never done that til now guess I'm on borrowed time.
