    Eaton fuller auto problem

I've got a 2000 Eagle International with detroit 60 series with eaton fuller 10 speed auto transmission.
When you push the clutch in to put it into gear it takes forever to go into gear. Sometimes you have to play with it, sometimes might take over five minutes to get it to go into gear. Once it's in gear smooth sailing. Any ideas on the problem? Or possible solution? Thanks in advance

It sounds like a clutch stop problem. If the clutch isn't self adjusting try adjusting it, you need half an inch between the thrust bearing and the clutch stop. The clutch stop is not stopping the input shaft. Had the same issue on a 7600i Inter.

What does the indicator show on the dash? When you select drive and push the clutch the in if the trans input shaft is still spinning you will see the arrows pointing down on the indicator. The down arrows mean the transmission has to slow down to engage the gear.
