How much to buy a new truck?
I have bought enough cars in my life to know that you never pay the list price and I am pretty sure I always get a good deal except that one Orange Pinto Station Wagon. My question is this.
The list price on the truck I want is $131,500. What should I offer?

I would call or email them and ask their best. Do not forget to ask them if it includes FET. Then wait a day and email them or when they call you tell them that you found the same truck for xyz less and they'll throw in zyx. I would say a number a few grand less then you want to pay. They'll probably lower it more and may or may not throw something in ie free oil changes for the first year. I'm not saying you'll like the price but I work in an Internet sales department for a living and this is how I see most people get the best price.

I would like to know too. Mega fleets seem to set their own price with the volume orders. When I have asked pricing on new or used, it has always been the price is the price. They are more willing to screw with your trade or finance terms. But maybe on some left over 2012's you may find a dealer willing to negotiate. Again, have never bought new, but would like to know how it all works.

Still waiting on the glider. FL hasn't got it to the dealer yet, or at least they haven't called. Was due in on the 9th. Dealer says he has seen them show up two weeks late before. Looks like mine will be in that category.
I promise!!!! I will post some pics when it is ready to go. Thought about waiting a while on the pics, because graphics will not be done for a while. I was going to wait till they got put on. Truck needs to be here and ready before my graphics shop can take measurements and match up what we need to do.
