Looking at an 09 389 with a c15 emy motor with 320k,JW what your thoughts or experiences are with theses motors, anybody have any advice?

The 07 emissions cats are a pain in the butt. Ask to see the warrantee work done on the truck. My truck does run now 5 years later. Also low ball the asking price, you can't give those motors away!

Wat where some of the problems you had? truck is under warranty till 600k, asking $80k. Ive heard some of the cats with the DPF are bad news and don't want to throw everything away i've earned the past couple yrs on this motor any help is greatly appreciated!

Lots of emissions junk. Art heads and lots of sensors. At least 10 times in 4 years. Last year has been ok. I tried to dump the pos this spring and couldn't get anything for it. Ask to see the warrantee work done on this truck so you know what your in for. And do a search for C15 emissions problems, there seem to be other options.
