Detroit series 60 14l turbo code
Hello. i recently sent our truck over to detroit for a intermittent yellow check engine light. When they got the truck they told me they didnt know the problem and they want to try a wiring harness and if that doesnt work try an ecm. any help would be great the code is
Engine #1 (MID 128 reports Turbo Compressor Temperature In (PID 351) is Data valid but above normal operational range (FMI 0)

I would sort of suspect the charge air cooler isn't doing its job, if the turbo's input temps are high.

checked charge air cooler it is good

Sounds to me like they are throwing parts at it and hoping for the best, I found out the hard way($$$$$$) that just because it says Caterpillar on the building and their shirts, doesn't make them an expert at anything but emptying your wallet and or checkbook, I guessing the same applies to Detroit and Cummins, maybe you should put the hood down and find a more able mechanic.Just my 0.02.
