Wind noise

I'm now in an '07 Frtlnr Columbia but the noise inside the truck is incredible. Anybody know of a good way to seal off the doors and windows to reduce it? I can hardly even talk on the phone with a good Blue Parrot headset. I just thought I'd ask before resorting to duck-taping foam around the hinges.

i would recommend getting some silicone spray then spray that onto a clean rag then wipe down the door seals with it. other than that, it is a freighliner sorry.

Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. If there's no wind, it's not as bad, though still bad. But the slightest breeze and it sounds like you're in a wind tunnel.

wind noise

ok haveing owned a few of these trucks here's the fix. Go to Wally world and get some 1 inch by 1 inch foam weather seal with sticky back on it. now open the doors and on the cab side of the opening clean this with a good degreaser and make sure it is real clean. Now apply a strip of the insulation all the way around the door frame right up to the latch plate. the doors will be hard to shut at first since it will be real thick at first but it will evewntualy do the memorie thing and close easier now put some real thin 1/4 or less around the plate on the door that meets the latch and it should fix most of it. you will still have window and door handel leaks sorry they are no way that i have found to fix that i used to freeze around the left side when running in real cold weather and a wind from that side. BRRRRRR.
