Volvo, Pete, Frieghtliner International, KW or Mack. Are they relieble? Yes, they all are. It more of a personal prefrence of what you like to drive. It's more of the engine you have to worry about being reliable. Without go power, your Truck no matter what the name on the hood will go down the road or not.

When A Truck to be reliable, it first must be able to go. So to be reliable is pending on the Engine have in it. Some like the Detroit, some like the Cat, or Cummins.

I personally hate the Detroits, I had to many nightmares with them. Harder to shift with, and the Trucks I drove with a Detroit broke down more than the ones that did not have Detroit.

It is my understanding a Volvo is heaver than most Trucks, so it takes away from your loading ability.

it depends on who you know. or what your experiances are with volvo's. my brother drives a volvo. it is the 3rd one i think his company has givein him it always brakes down. he love the luxery of the truck. it is just the engines and the machanics of it.

uh huh

they all make junk.....same with the pickup manufacters
i like cat's, some people have had nothing but problems with them
i like a 13, again....some people have problems
but its more than specs i think binder boy wants, i think hes asking for us to reaffirm a decision he has already made, and i refuse to
never having drivin a volvo for more than a test drive i cannot affirm or deny, i do know drivers who swear by them, same as i do for kenworth
in my humble opionon this thread is like me saying that all peterbuilts are garbage becuase i dont like thier clutch pedal, would that be fair of me to say????no
as in everything in driving a truck...it boils down to personal prefrance
and no binder boy i do not single you out to harrass, i just happen to disagree....figured i better throw that out there
