Well, first I got was an 2000 International 9200i with a 370 Detroit 10sp then I sold it for an 2000 Peterbilt 379 short hood with a 435 Cummin 10sp, sold it also... finally I got the truck of my dreams, a Peterbilt 379 EXT. 475 CAT with a 18sp overdrive!

I believe that I have driven a few different trucks, all with cummins in them. Let's see if I can name them all.

American La france, Autocar, Pete, Freightliner, KW, DAF, Daewoo, International, Volvo, Western Star, Ford, and the one exception to the rule, a mercedes with a mercedes benz engine in it. I have also driven a few buses, but I won't go there.

For comfort I like the Pete 379. the 359 gets a little tight between the seats. The 379 also had the most comfortable seat in it of all the trucks that I drove. I know that it can be changed. The older Petes and KW's did not have that tight of a turning radius. The Daewoo could turn around and read it's rear license plate if it wanted to. It was a cab over with a rear tag axle so it had the wheelbase of a small car. The new KW T660 and Pete 386 have a much tighter turning radius. I don't think that they are as tight as a freightliner or volvo yet. The Volvo seems like it is setup for comfort, (I wouldn't know because we tear the interior out of the back). If I were to have my pick I would choose the Pete then the KW and then the Western Star.

I have a 1996 Marmon 103D...500 Cummins w/ a 13 speed Fuller....

Here is a bigger picture when i bought it in 1999..it had only 240,000 miles on it. I have just over 870,000 now and it still runs like a top.
