However, at the Schneider finance location, the price for the trucks will be very close to double what they are asking for the same trucks when you pay cash. Since you are in Baltimore (I apologize for thinking you were out of the states!) swing by any good sized local truckstop and pick up a copy of the truck trader paper. Usually towards the back, there will be two separate ads for Schneider, both offering the same trucks, but one from direct sales, and one from the finances side. Take a gander at the prices and see the difference.

I thought I had posted that, because one week a few months back both Schneider ads appeared on the same page in the paper. usually they are separated by a few pages, so it isn't so obvious, but this time they sat side by side. I was already aware of the price differential, but that week really brought it out.

Selectrucks.com not a good source? I just did a little google search for used freightliner and came up with the dealers.

Selecttrucks is a source with a lot of Freightliners, and they are hooked into the various programs Freightliner has to get you not a truck for the minimum amount of up front money. But oftentimes, the trucks have accumulated a lot of hard miles, the interiors are very spartan bare fleet units, and you can find much better financial deals by looking around and paying a substantial down payment using regular financing, or buying outright for cash.

The Schneider deal we were talking about earlier is structured much like Select trucks is. Pay 25k base price cash, or pay 45k base price plus high interest if you want to finance through them. My wallet votes for the cash.
