As the title says I have oil in my coolant. Whats the proper steps to find the problem? I sure hope its the oil cooler after doing some reading.

Could be the blown head gasket. Man u have the same engine as what i have, how many miles is it.

prolly the oil cooler thats the first place id look pull it off have it tested if it's not that then you know the rest

Start with the oil cooler, could potentially be the head or head gasket.

I don't think I would worry about that little bit just yet. It could also be the tranny cooler.

Maybe have you oil tested at a lab to make sure no coolant in oil.
