Hi ya'll, I have had a couple of tripac units in the past and could set the A/C to start as soon as I shut the truck down. With my new truck and tripac I have to go back to the sleeper every time I shut down and turn the tripac to A/C. My question is, does anyone know if there is a menu setting to make it automatically start the A/C? Thanks

They can plug into it at TK and set it like that. Mine was set to automatically start however it was last set but I didn't like it that way and had them change it back.

Hmmm... mine won't run for more than 12 seconds then I get a AcC red error msg. No one at the TA truckstop seems to know anything about them.
Downloaded manual, but doesnt really say anything about troubleshooting.

I'm guessing your getting the acs code, for it to be thrown its either got low freon, bad a/c pressure switch, bad condenser fan, or a problem with the a/c clutch. First things I would check would be the condenser fan to make sure it spins freely because they like to get froze up, and then I would check the freon and go on from there.

Download the thermo king app, it works great for finding dealers, addresses, phone numbers, and directions

Problem fixed...stopped by TK in Little Rock, the tech jumped in the truck and got into the menu on the contract panel and changed the settings, now it remembers the last setting, only took 5 minutes and didn't charge me to do it!

I tried to watch him, but he went way too fast and too many button pushes for me to keep up..lol he said there are too many things in the setup menu that you could screw up if you didn't know what you're doing, so I let the pro work bis magic

    olphart Thanks this.
