    hi all i'm wondering whats your guys input on which is a better platform to run with the 12.7 or the 14. i want to be able to run in the 600-700 hp range and would like some info from you guys to see what direction i would like to go in. all input is appreciated

    12.7 are the pre emission engines and 14.0 are not.

    Wrong.There are 12.7's with egr & 14's without although the 14 liter pre emission engines are rare.

    Im aware that there are 12.7 egr. They sucked and spec to 445 hp.

    memory to my dad's 2000 century. Had 12.7 detroit with 500 hp. Custom interior. low pro 24.5 tires. 1999-2006 RIP (total rollover by the owner we sold to).
