George Jetson's Land Transport...

I know nothing about the pictured trucks (maybe buses), except I like them. I happened upon the pics while looking for something else, and just had to share.

Notice the round windshield with the three wiper blades that rotate. Ingenious. They have chrome lug-nut covers, as well. First class all the way.

Do they talk? Looks like their mouths are about to open to complain about the chicken house being open.

Now that you mention it, maybe the DOT just pulled it over.

Mirrors

apparently his concept didn't extend to using cameras instead of mirrors to improve the aero #s. Ugly but if it would haul 80,000 while getting 10-12 mpg people would learn to love it. Kind of like those Crocs shoes.

Now i've heard of the Weinermobile, but I don't think it needed to be chrome-plated......

If it's fuel efficient and cheap, i'm afraid one will be going down the road with a JB Hunt flag on it.......oy vey.
