What size resistor is needed for the turbo boost and where does it go? I just want to try it out to see what is gonna happen. Then I'll decide to leave it there or not. Thanx in advance.

I can't tell for sure if I got a power gain from it as I did it at the same time as disabling my wastegate. I definately got more power and better spool between the two.
I can say one thing for sure, it seems to have thrown my dash fuel and mpg #'s off a bit. Mine was pretty accurate, but now I'm adding a few more gallons per fillup than the computer shows burnt.

I'm not really worried about MPG. I drive a log truck in the woods. The truck never sees a paved road. I would just like a little more power.

At what temp was the fuel when you dynoed it?
As actual fuel temp increases, the gains with the resistor are diminished. If the fuel was already pretty warm from hard running when tested ,actual gains would be more with cooler fuel.

True the gain would be more if the real temp of the fuel is cool, but in the real world your fuel aint gonna stay cool vary long while running at road speed. I never checked the actual fuel temp before putting the resistor on, but the truck set over night and I put the resistor on after the 3rd pull on the dyno. Just guessing at the actual temp might have been mid 90's to low 100's degrees at best, with the resistor on the the temp shows 161 degrees.
