Does anyone know what the fuel temp harness is suppose make the ecm read for a temp? I bought the platinum power harness and mine reads like 77 degrees and it made the truck somewhat gutless and i lost about 7 to 10 lbs of boost.

Well can't really hook it up wrong so I'm thinking its defective then. I'll have to call them and see if they will warranty it or something I've had it for almost two months but only had it on there for a week or so and took it off.

Anything below 159*F isn't going to give you the full advantage of using one. Anything below 89*F and it isn't helping you at all and is costing your Hp as the fuel temperature rises in the fuel tanks.

I got the replacement one and it does the same thing so i got the multimeter out and ohmed both of them. They only ohmed 100 ohms. So they must be having some sort of problem with there harness with putting the wrong resistor in them. I took it apart and put a 150 ohm resistor in it and now it reads 165 degrees like it's suppose to.
It's kind of frustrating something so simple how in the heck can they screw it up and it makes me wonder how many other people have got the same thing and don't know.Last edited by bstromback2002; 08.21.2012 at 03.35 PM.

Anything below 125 Ohm puts the ECM into a default temperature reading for the fuel. Anything above 172 Ohms doesn't raise the temperature reading high enough for max power gain for this mod. For somebody selling a performance product, you would think they would know this.
