| LED Lights I was in a one stop shopping store for farm, auto and truck supplies and was actually looking for some LED lights to replace the 4" ones in a trailer, they had some LED's there for $16.99 and bought 4 red ones, they came with the plug and the wires to just hard wire them in although i am going to need the housing to mount them into either rubber or something else, not sure. While i was looking at these lights i came upon some LED light bulbs for $9.99 in red or orange 1156 and 1157, now my question is which way to go here and wondered if anyone has tried these bulbs and how they work as compared to putting a whole new light in, if they worked ok it would be much cheaper to just put the bulbs in and go. I'd like to know your thoughts and what you would do, thanks. |

| LED lights are suppose to last longer, but I seem to have more problems with them than the other ones. On another note they do not put off enough heat to keep the lenses clean in snow and ice. I spray wd 40 on them and make sure I wipe them when I stop. On our trailers they are riveted in. On the road they are a pain. Can't just pop one out and replace it until it has the rivets drilled out. Our yards and some TA's use self taping screws to put the metal ring back on. They make a boot that you can just pop in to hold the lens.

| the main problem I have found with the led lights is that if you get the cheap ones most the time they have cheap cnnectors and they rot out super fast. they have to be kept weather tight. |
