Thanks for clearing that up. I've always been curious even when the 2000 models were out.

Im not sure on this but maybe you can put a wire mesh screen on the fog lights to keep from having small stones etc from hitting the lens.I would call the dealer to see if they have any in stock..if not maybe after market ones that would fit

It's something they borrowed from their European models. Most have auxilliary driving lights as well as foglamps.

Having the fog/driving light system as one set is not unusual, I think Scania did the same thing on it's trucks.

update their NOT disposable theres 3 bolts on the side behind the bumper you remove the whole housing to replace the bulbs thanks for all the replys
