| Can you disable Autoshift on an Eaton 9spd Top 2? I have an 05' Century with the Eaton 9spd Top 2, it's an ex-Werner truck. Can the 8-9 autoshift be disabled? Right now I can "trick" the computer into disabling the autoshift, but only during certain load and speed situations, and, everytime I turn the key off it goes back to autoshift. Does anyone know a way to permanently disable autoshift? Thanks. Briley. |

| seems like i remember on my girlfriends t600 if you didnt use the cruise it didnt shift to 9 but what i did figure out was while useing cruise you could make it kick down to 8 by mashing the gas pedal to climb a hill etc. |

| I had a T-600 with a super 10, top 2. I went to Kenworth and had the top 2 auto disabeled. It is all set up in the trucks computer. It took about five minutes start to finish. I liked some things about the top 2, but you had no control over holding in gear like with a full auto. The top 2 auto shift started to act up and I had it canceled. That made a world of difference in my fuel mileage and driveability. |

| Stranger and Kennz beat me to the punch- with the cruise control off, the automatic 9-10 (or 8-9) shift is disabled (as if the auto downshift). And if ti still keeps bugging you, then take it to a shop and they should be able to disable the 'Top 2' feature.
