D16 are you useing 5w30 synthetic in your class 8 motor? I never heard of that you can use this kind of oil without a hitch.I know amsoil makes great products and a lot of people swear by it.If you are putting 5w30 synthetic in your diesel how is your fuel mileage doing...i was getting 6 to the gallon with rotella T15w40.Thanks for the tip on the distribution centre in edmonton..im very interested if they have a web site but i will check later for it and i had no idea they had a centre here in canada..i have to get out more often LOL..Speaking of getting out i was thinking about driving again only part time..if the company has the miles i need then i will take it .

99% of everything I've owned or driven had a Kitty Cat and I've always used Rotella and Lucas upper cyl. lube with good results.

There seems a lot of advertising going on in truck news here in canada on the Delo 400 and Castrol Tection Extra but valvoline premium blue is still respected motor oil for many years.I havent heard any complaints about valvoline so i wouldnt worry much

Rotella has been in it since new. I put a gallon of Lucas in it every other service, at 617K the C-16 doesn't use any oil between changes. I run synthetics in the trans and rears. I put Howes fuel treatment in it every 5K, my driver swears it runs better with it in there. Maybe he's just trying to make me feel better to justify the cost.
