Man i loved my Pete, that truck was my best friend! lol Im not saying i hate this KW but if you seen my thread on largecar then you see why im not to fond of this truck now.... I like the 86" bunk though that is very FTW!!!!! Oh well hope i got all the bugs worked out of it......... Oh and BTW the KW turns like a battle ship compared to a 379 ex hd Pete so watch out.

Yeah I saw that. I need to go back over there and read up again. Man to be perfectly honest if I buy another high ticket truck it'll probably be a W-9.

Maintenance wise the western star like I have is the easiest to work on. I can almost stand up between the frame rails under the cab, but I am only 5'9"

Yeah. After awhile though, it just gets to be the same old same staring at the same style of dash every day and looking over the same hood.

379x, i hear ya on the same ole same ole crap. But the Pete is better in every way in my honest opinion, ride, handling, turning, way less body roll (wait body roll? no such thing on a 379), alot better on ice, even backing up you have way better visibility. Dont get me started on ease of working on a Pete compared to a W9, i like my truck but i if got the chance to get my money back towards a nice 379 i wouldnt even hesitate....... And most likley i will.
