I think a lot of guys stay away from them do to hardly any support out there on the road, i mean go west of the mississippi and how many mack dealers do you see. Not like you can pull into a Peterbilt dealer or Freightliner and have them work on your mack engine or trans. Plus they are one rough ridin son of a......

YO MAN LOOK AROUND....BULLDOGS ARE EVERY WHERE .I DRIVE AND OWN A 2001 MACK VISION WITH AN 80 INCH MILLINIUM SLEEPER, A 427 MACK E-TECH ENGINE AND I RUN 47 OF THE 48 STATES....I HATE COMMIFORNIA SO I DON'T GO THERE.
MACKDADDY1911a1

HOW ABOUT THIS DUDE ... YOU SAID W. OF THE MISSISSPPI THERE WERE NO DEALERS WELL IF YOU OWN A BULLDOG MACK YOU GET A DEALER LOCATOR BOOK WITH THE TRUCK AND AN 800 NUMBER THAT YOU CAN CALL IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE BOOK AND THEY'LL TELL YOU WHERE IT IS OR SIMPLY GO TO THERE WEB SITE. BY THE WAY MY 2001 MACK VISION IS COMPLETE AIRRIDE . ALSO THE NEW 08 MACK PINNACLES ARE AS QUIET OR QUIETER THAN ANY OTHER TRUCK OUT THERE AND WITH THE 485 HP MP-8 YOU CAN FINNALY HAVE SOME DECENT POWER. ONE MORE THING THE NEW MP-10 IS RATED AT 605 HP WITH 2060LB.FT OF TORQUE AT 1200 RPMs .THAT'S 10LB. FT. MORE TORQUE THAN THE 625HP CAT KING OF THE HILL ENGINE. THAT'S A FACT.

BY THE WAY I AGREE VOLVO DOES SUCK ISN'T IT A SHAME THAT THEY OWN MACK. HOWEVER I TOOK A TEST DRIVE OF ONE OF THE NEW PINNACLE MIDROOF O.T.R. TRUCKS IN NASHVILLE TN. AND AT ONLY 405 HP THE MP-8 WAS ABSOLUTELY AWSOME.

Guys, give me a friggen break. CCC uses them as well as Transexperience out of Canada. In addition, many flatbed companies use them as well. Florida Rock and Tank lines uses them as well. Finally, Sharkey uses them too.

Funny I seldom see them or a mack dealer out here OTR? Your profile says you are a wanna be that is 21 years old. Just how is is that you seem to think that they are everywhere?

Well I see them in Florida all the time. I saw one that had a mid roof Sleeper not too long ago that was PA based. Commercial Carrier Corp operates a bunch of mid roofs to low roofs that do OTR. I have a friend in Canada that works for TransExperiece and he drives a Mack.

As long as they remain butt ugly, the contemplation quandry of deciding to purchase one will remain a non issue, for me personaly.

30+ years ago they were a serious player in the class 8 market, though.
