Thats funny you say that, because an old man said that to me in the form of a question a few years ago."DAYUM BOY! You got both them opened up like that so as you can be"deefed" on both sides of yer' skull at the same time or whut'??".He also added the fact that"You dumbazz kids don't make any sense to me".....I was already in my 40's by then.lol.I just looked at the ground, kicked some rocks around and grinned like a possum.

I just don't know if I want to listen to straights all day long. I like the sound but sems like it will get annoying after awhile. That said though I'm sure I'll end up with them!! lol

Hey, if that cattle starts a stampede in the trailer, I want enough power to stay in front of it.

Mine are 7's with a not so cal legal resinator under the truck and you need the windows up dropping down hills. It's bad when your friend rolling in front of you with 8 inch straights and a cal resinator can hear you dropping down a hill behind him over his pipes.

It would be a cold day in hell B4 I do something like that..LOL I just got my truck on Thurs. It was supposed to be ready on Wed. so that will tell you how it started. I spent the night in London to have to wait all day for them to finish the truck because they lost the list of crap I told them I wanted done. The salesman was a total tool. When I test drove it he said that the drift to the right was the crown in the road. I had the tire man pull an alignment and I was right, the drives where out a bit. But it has a good alignment now, new rubber and rides bobtail better than any loaded/empty freight shaker or volvo I have ever been in. It was full of rattles in the interior and I spent all day cleaning it up (I told them I wanted it detailed B4 I got it and their idea of clean was to knock the dust off the dash). They had greasy dick beaters prints all over the place and I a shampooing the carpet today. I had them install the second bunk and checked everything over that they did to make sure it was tight (the wrencehs did a good job there) then I proceeded to find all of my rattles. 80% of the screws for the closets, fridge etc were not falling out loose but where definately not tight. Tightened everything, (10 hours in it just cleaning, dissasembling and tightening) took it for a ride and it is now like a Pete should be. I have a load waiting on me to go to FL on Tues or Wed (delivering a new trailer to Utility, not too shabby on the pay and light ) depending as soon s I get my GPS, Air Weigh, TV etc installed then I am off. I have to get through the house to see my kids (more so they can see the new truck) then I should be heading west by the weekend. I will keep in touch and I am sure we will meet before too long. You will know my truck when you see it, has Snowman Refrigerated Express on the side in chrome.

In My Humble Opinion, I think the bikers got it right when they said Loud Pipes Saves Lives, in fact I'm a true believer.

I'm glad there are some other folks on this site that enjoy the fine, fine rumble of dual straights. I've bounced around on this site and seem to remember a few people bashing some guys about dual stacks, long hoods and all that. Any way, Ya Make My Chest Fill With Pride!!!!! Just don't forget ta be respectful with them when when ya should Sorry about buttin in on your thread just couldn't resist C-YAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
